How Much is Your Health Costing You?

I wanted to talk a bit about something I am hearing often from people/clients which is, “How Expensive it is to be Healthy.” And additionally, similar statements of “I can’t afford”, or other limiting statements as to why they aren’t investing in their health.

This may “trigger” a few of you, and it’s certainly not meant to, but I do think we need to start reframing our words and thinking around the above statement(s).

After I gave birth, my body was fragile. Things started changing, purging, breaking down, and I felt out of control, overwhelmed and completely frustrated. To complicate matters, my body was also in a state of eliminating anything that was causing it further stress  - especially my breast implants. And there began the doctors visits, labs, supplements, appointments, more appointments, referrals, tests and more tests, two surgeries, followed by more protocols for healing. We are talking tens of thousands of dollars.

So my point is that YOUR HEALTH is an INVESTMENT.

BEING SICK IS WHAT’S EXPENSIVE!

Doctor's Bill

We have been conditioned to spend our money on “stuff”, but when it comes to investing in our bodies, our spiritual healing and our ongoing transformation we balk at what it “costs” us.

Now I’m not saying you need to break the bank to be healthy, but I am pointing out that the money you spend on clothes, drinks, dinners, late night online purchases, fad supplements, prescriptions that are a short-cut to sustainable health, and so on WILL NOT make you happier or healthier in the long-run.

Working on the ROOT CAUSE, addressing your trauma and limiting beliefs, and figuring out a SUSTAINABLE ROADMAP for your nutrition will deliver life-long results.

The question is - ARE YOU READY TO STEP OUT OF YOUR FEAR AND INVEST IN YOURSELF?

Rachel
